Settings in Mac have only some system settings

I did found the location, and tried making a symbolic link to a different location but TDA can't work with symbolic links and crashed

/Users/XXXX/Library/Containers/com.tacx.tacxdesktop/Data/Library/Application Support/Tacx Desktop app/DownloadedVideos

Is there an option to change the download location on the Mac?
I want the downloaded files on an external drive
