Re: TTS4 License Server - It Works at Least For Now - But Not After March 1
TTS is end of life and no longer supported and in many cases, sold TTS and RLV right up until the day they ended support and turned off the license servers. So as long as there is no intent to market something derived from Tacx software, what owners of a licensed copy of the software decide to do wi...

Re: offline license key registration and activation process.
According the software agreement you may use the purchased key on one computer. If you want to transfer the software to another computer there is no legal issue. When re-activating a key which is lost for some reason I also see no legal issues. Since each of us owns a legal copy and Tacx has public...

Re: New Tacx Neo 2T Smart issues
I setup my bike and when I start to pedal, in the first few turns, it feels like the drive chain jerks and very difficult to pedal. Is the chain jumping/skipping as you pedal? Keep in mind it is very rare for the cassette spacing of the Neo to be a dead on match with the rear spacing of your bicycl...

Re: Tacx Neo 2T problems!
While we have a pair of the original v 1.0 Neo's, I have read of owners with similar feedback across all versions of the Neo, in fact my first Neo had a rumbling noise issue was replaced under warranty. If nobody here has any suggestions, I would suggest stopping by the Tacx Neo Owners Group on Face...

Re: Remember TTS4
I thought I had read somewhere that one of the advantages of using the Microsoft development foundation for TDA was that it allowed Tacx to leverage Bing Maps. If that is the case, from the screen shots above, would sure seem to illustrate the old adage 'you get what you pay for'.

Re: World demands on indoor trainers...
I really doubt that the manufacturers are rolling in the profits, as probably supply shortages are more likely a function of the impact the pandemic has had on global supply chains. Pre-pandemic, companies could easily depend on shipping a lot of stuff pretty much overnight via air freight or even d...

Re: 4K Films ?
I agree. For mobile and other small screen devices, it is a waste of time. I think you need at least a 42" 4K display to see any benefit. Yes, but both our now 2+ year old Samsung S9 Smartphones as well as our 3-4 year old Samsung tablet have the ability to 'cast' the view to our Smart TVs. I ...

Why doesn't Garmin offer a subscription sharing option?
Having been using a premium subscription for Rouvy since February, I have really enjoyed the fact that while we have separate logons, I can add a couple family or friends and share the a single premium subscription. Having looked at the costs for a TDA subscription and perused a couple support artic...

Anyone need Tacx Fortius Handlebar controllers?
I have a pair of Tacx Fortius white/blue handlebar controllers (stock image below) gathering dust since the end of February, when we moved to Rouvy. Now having recently installed Windows 10 Pro over the original Home edition, our two licensed instances of TTS are no more, thus we will never have nee...

Re: TDA with non Tacx trainers
While I cannot speak from experience, it does seem strange to me that TDA would not be able to control a current generation Smart Trainer via Bluetooth. It sounds to me as if TDA is actually connecting to the Wahoo as a power meter and not a Smart Trainer, thus the reason for the lack of change in r...

That is curious. I know that if you ride in Race mode, the Reality Level control is not present, but it should be in that settings menu in Training mode.

Re: Rouvy has introduced 'Group Rides'
I am pretty sure Rouvy AR went mainstream last month when they split out workout functionality from AR app into the dedicated workout app. When we started with Rouvy, we used the default video/view but did not like it so I changed the perspective 'me' thus we see the full view. Curious why you are d...

Sorry, I was referring primarily to apps for larger plan forms like tablets, laptops, or PC's. Re: Too many videos on TDA?
It is a matter of having users become educated on how to use it. Yes, but apps that do not provide an immersive and intuitive user experience tend to die a slow death. Mobile apps playing on dinky screens is a whole other ballgame. I've never figured out how people are even interested in doing that...

So assuming the prices is within my budget is the Flux a lot better that the Vortex and Flow and is there any known risk of the flow being dropped as a current product? The Tacx Cycling App for Android works with the legacy Bushido. As for TTS on an iMac, since you are running some kind of Windows emulator, why not use another PC/laptop and setup a virtual PC and clone the TTS instance to the virtual PC?

Re: Problems with set up..
Depending on the age of the laptop, I suspect it has either an external VGA/SVGA connector or possibly display port. In either case there are reasonably inexpensive adaptors/converters available to make the connection.Tony Horner wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 11:48 am just have to work out how to connect an old laptop without hdmi to a tv .
