Migrating Installed Videos

Hello,

I have a tacx fortius trainer with 35dvd (hald of them installed on my laptop) and the TTS 4.22.
It always worked well and I recently wanted to start it again after two years of suspension due to an
accident I had on the road.

The first window says that my software is up to date...the next one gets stuck with the information

Migrating Installed Videos

and nothing happens further.

Garmin didn't respond to the problem and I only want to get it running like it was...don't need an update
nor any interactive features or a registration.
I was happy with all the climbs and videos I have and the setup is sufficient for my needs.
Maybe someone could help me please...
Many thanks and best wishes
Werner

HI there,
thanks for the reply

Inside the settings folder are two files....installedvideos.xlm and players.
I should delete both and run the software?
kind regards
Werner

Hi there
I got a new reply from Garmin.
They won't help even though I am already registered and only offered a 20% discount.
Now I have to trash 35 dvds and two fortius trainer?
If this should be true I would not waste a cent in any of their products ever again.
Should I wait... What to do... I don't know
Regards
Werner

Email me the log files. It may be one of the RLVs causing the issue?

I have a T1961 Vortex.
I cannot get it to work far with Rouvy, Zwift etc.

Still works with TTS4 and Windows 7. I took an old W7 backup image and made and a SSD that I use only for Tacx.
I start the program (4.8) without an internet connection (you never know) Program indicates that the licenses are still correct so ..... I can continue cycling in Arizona ;).

It was a quite an investment those videos. I also have 3rd party vids. (reallifevideo.de)
As long as the hardware still works, I keep using TTS 4.8.
They could but Tacx's didn’t want to make it compatible with Win10.
They made no more money and therefore switched to the subscriber model.

So as long as it takes, I keep on exercising in these times of isolation.

I had TTS4 on a Windows 7 Lap Top for 8 years with only a few minor issues. When i got a new mid spec W10 Lap Top for testing TDA i did not risk reinstalling TTS4 on this lap top because of out of sync/not smooth playback of the video issues reporting for W10 on the forum. However for some reason TDA had issues that other testers did not have so i got a new high spec overkill PC for TDA.My W7 lap was slowing down so i took the risk and reinstalled TTS4 on this W10 PC.[W7 lap top died a few weeks later]The vidoes play smooth and in sync with good picture quality.
So TTS4 is compatible with W10 ;)

Hello all,

I've got the same problem.
Opened Tacx and the screen froze on Migrating Installed Videos.

I've deleted the file 'installedvideos.xlm' and tried to reopen Tacx.
Now the 'License Wizard' window opens and written in red is 'At the start of Tacx Training software 4 Basic the following error occurred: This is an unknown error.'

I've clicked through the files and 'Code 11' is missing.
The License file is also empty.

Has anyone else had this problem?
If yes, any solutions?

Thanks!
Louise
