We have just found out that our carefully and lovingly mapped out SE Asia route through Myanmar has one minor flaw: it is not possible! Or so we fear after reading various travellers comments on the web. However after much research we stumbled over a press release from the Myanmar government concerning the construction of a bridge between the two countries and the tarmacing of a major road – this could be the answer to all our prayers! Nonetheless, we will check it out at the embassy this week!

On a different note, we should say a big thank you to all our sponsors so far – you have all been a great help to our cause. Special thanks (not in any particular order) to Helen from Burton McCall, Neil from Paradigm, Gareth from Garmin, Hubert from Radical, Ian from Futurecycles, Dan from Outpac Designs, Abbey from Alpha and all our friends and colleagues that have helped us so far… apologies if we left anyone out. You have all been great! Thank you.

  1. Hi Nic and Sedef!

Hope you had a safe and friendly journey from Wharfies back to the Uk after the day we met for breakfast. I have just resigned from my job, albeit one should not conclude that I am not in the job search and visa industry, as I have made the brave decision, not unlike yourselves to venture out on my own into the corporate wilderness and do it myself! Time to throw in being an employee and become the employer.

    My details are as follows:

    Jo Burston

    Managing Director

    Job Capital

    6 Alma Road

    St Kilda VICTORIA 3062

    0425 322 505

jspindler@deasil.com.au (until new one is up)

I will be located in Sydney for at least the next 12 months.

Please send me along those CV’s and I will be certain to help you however I can relocating and securing great roles in Australia.

Take care and be in touch!

    Jo
