Over a week in Pakistan, and we seem to be suffering from bad tummies permanently!! Alas we love Pakistani food but our tummies are taking some time to adjust!
On the plus side the people are super-friendly and the land is as flat as a pancake! Mountains here are little bumps less than 50m high!
We have been appointed guests of the Government of Pakistan just after leaving Karachi and now have armed police escort with us 24/7 – even sleeping outside our room in hotels! Although we never had reason to fear for our safety we are mobbed wherever we go after having appeared in a few of the Pakistani newspapers – local celebrities now!
